What can you do with this stuff?

Insect farms produce insects, which are usually frozen and then further processed into a dry protein powder, roasted or fried into a whole-insect snack, or used in a variety of other manners. There is a huge range of exciting applications for insects ranging from functional nutrition to delicious culinary inclusions.

Here are some of our favorite ways to prepare insects (mostly crickets) with demonstrated or potential product applications:

Oaktown Crickets (fried crickets)
Cricket Powder (basics and applications)
Cricket Savory Paste and Sate Sauce
Roasted Cricket Broth (and soup recipe)
Cricket "meat"
Cricket Flake (in chocolate)
